FOUND — Update 0.4.56

*(everything since 0.4.55)*

This round is about **things that go boom and the world around them**: dynamite, exploding barrels and craters in the ground, plus a fuller forest, a new geyser, lava that properly meets water and a long list of fixes from playtesting.

EXPLOSIVES

# Dynamite and grenades

Dynamite is the strong one: a 4-second fuse with a spark, a big blast that fells trees and leaves a crater. The grenade stays the weaker, quicker option.

# Craters

Big blasts dig into the ground for real. Craters are saved with the world. The ground around a blast goes dark for a while. Craters are kept small: dynamite digs about 0.8 m, a barrel only a shallow scrape.

# Barrels and cans

Fuel barrels and cans now sit around the dwarf village and the storm wreck. Shoot them, set them on fire or put them near lava and they go off, sometimes setting off their neighbours. The fuel burns up in the blast, so no puddle of petrol is left behind.

# FIRE AND WATER

# Pee to put out fires

Hold **K**. It puts out burning grass, a campfire, a burning tree or a lit barrel fuse, and burns off spilled petrol faster. Your bladder fills back up over a few minutes.

# Burnt grass grows back

Burnt grass leaves dark ground behind, and the grass grows back a day later.

# Burning trees no longer fall over

The leaves burn away at once with a burst of embers, and a charred trunk stays standing.

# Felled trees fall away from you

A tree now falls toward the side you cut it from, not onto you.

# LAVA MEETS WATER

Where a lava flow reaches a lake or the sea, it now builds a proper **cooled lava delta**: a broken, lumpy rock mass with a ragged edge that slopes down into the water, a few glowing cracks and steam rising from it. It is solid. You can walk on it, and you can no longer swim into a hollow under it. On frozen lakes the ice around it has melted away.

# THE FOREST

# More undergrowth

Thousands of new bushes, ferns, plants, flowers and mushrooms grow among the trees. Flowers, ferns and mushrooms are now real-world sizes, while bushes are big and full. Some bushes carry **blackberries** you can pick.

# New rocks

Rocks and pebbles use a new set of models, and their hitboxes now follow the rock's actual shape, so you no longer bump into invisible corners.

# New geyser

Sulfur geysers have a new cone-shaped model that follows the slope it stands on. The blue pool ring is gone; the sulfur crystals are still around it.

# More falling leaves

More falling leaves, with gusts in the wind.

# SMALL THINGS

- **Slide marks.** On ice, and when you Ctrl-slide on snow or mud, you leave slide streaks instead of footprints.

- **Ice sound.** The crack when you climb out onto ice now plays right away.

- **Shorelines.** Water edges no longer form sharp spikes and notches.

- **Smoke.** Smoke, steam and dust look softer and more natural.

- **Rain.** Far-away splashes are fainter.

- **Bullet holes.** Bullet holes look better and no longer appear on water.

- **Night.** The dark vignette at night is lighter.

- **Building.** The placement preview is a blue glowing copy of the real model, red where you can't build.

- **F2 photo mode.** F2 now cycles: HUD → photo mode with frame corners → clean screen → HUD.

- **Pixel filter.** An optional pixelate filter, for the whole screen or just the grass, is in the settings.

- **Weak PCs.** The near and normal view-distance settings now bring the fog closer, which hides and skips far objects.

- **Co-op.** A joining player waits for the host's world before being placed. Version mismatches say why the join was refused.
